Pedagogical Documentation
Title: Exploring Our Train Journey Theme
This documentation shows how children explored our train-journey theme through open-ended materials and conversations. I used photos, quotes, and observations to extend their ideas into dramatic play and literacy activities. This reflects my philosophy that children are capable learners and that documentation helps make their thinking visible.

Learning Story
Title: Creating Our Classroom “Travel Stations”
I chose this learning story because it captures how children worked together to design travel stations using maps, tickets, and props. Their ideas guided the entire experience, showing true emergent curriculum. This aligns with my belief in child-led learning and the Reggio Emilia idea of co-learning with children.

Responsive Inclusive Plan #1
Title: Train Station Dramatic Play
This plan shows how I created a dramatic play area that supported all learners through visuals, open-ended props, and flexible roles. Children could participate in ways that matched their interests and abilities. It represents my commitment to inclusive planning and environments that spark imagination.

Responsive Inclusive Plan #2
Title: Community Walk to the Park
I included this community walk because it connects children to their neighbourhood and builds belonging. It responded to their interest in buildings, nature, and outdoor spaces. This plan reflects my philosophy that learning extends beyond the classroom and that community experiences enrich children’s understanding.

Artifact #1
Title: Collaborative Artwork From Practicum
This artwork represents the strong relationships I built with children during practicum. It reflects creativity, teamwork, and a sense of community. I included it because it captures my belief that children thrive when they feel valued and connected.

Artifact #2
Title: Field Placement Evaluation Excerpt
This evaluation is meaningful because it highlights my growth in communication, observation, and responsiveness. It shows how reflective practice supports professional learning. I included it to represent my dedication to continuous improvement as an educator.

Artifact #3
Title: Learning Environment Setup
This setup demonstrates how I design spaces that encourage curiosity and independence. The materials reflect children’s interests and invite exploration. It represents my belief in the environment as the “third teacher.”
